Orchids and Hummingbirds solo exhibition of new work will be on view at the Bromfield Gallery in the SOWA arts district in Boston in June of 2026. This body of work includes expansions of studies begun at AIR Guiniguada, and reflects an exploration of what it means to witness multiple states at once within the natural and human experience.

ART RESIDENCY IN GRAN CANARIA
MARCH 2025
AiR Guiniguada | Gran Canaria, Spain
This spring Cynthia heads to the ecologically-oriented arts and research residency located in Guiniguada on the island of Grand Canary, a Spanish territory. The cluster of islands is located west of Morocco and north of Western Sahara, Africa. During this time she will be working on studies of local flora, and seeking to learn more about the inhabitants relationship to them.
